HISTORIA

La asociación de usuarios de la UMHES Simón Bolívar surge tras un trabajo conjunto de las señoras Myriam Fajardo, Flor de Ríos y María Ruth Bolaños de Rocha en el aquel entonces “Hospital Simón Bolívar”, que les permitió consolidar la idea de organizarse como asociación y en la actualidad la Sra. Ruth permanece activa en la organización. El primer presidente de la asociación de usuarios fue el Sr. Miguel Ángel Zambrano QEPD.

Desde el momento de su creación hasta la actualidad la asociación de usuarios se ha consolidado como organización social en salud, cuyo objetivo es velar por la calidad del servicio y la defensa del usuario en su acceso, ingreso, instancia y egreso de los servicios de salud de la UMHES Simón Bolívar.
